The first Rocket Yoga Teacher Training in Buckinghamshire

 

This 50-hour ROCKET® Vinyasa Teacher Training is designed for 200hr-qualified yoga teachers who want to develop the foundations, understanding, and training required to teach Rocket Yoga.

​

Rocket Yoga is a dynamic school of yoga created in the 1980s by Larry Shultz, rooted in the Ashtanga system and designed to be accessible, adaptable, and empowering.

 

This training offers 50 hours of Rocket-specific education within the ROCKET® Vinyasa Teacher pathway.

WHO THIS TRAINING IS FOR

This training is for:

• 200hr-qualified yoga teachers

• Teachers who want to begin teaching Rocket Vinyasa

• Teachers inspired by Ashtanga, Rocket, or strong Vinyasa

​

Teachers who complete the initial 50-hour ROCKET® Vinyasa Teacher Training are recognised as ROCKET® Vinyasa Teachers. This training provides the education required to begin teaching Rocket Vinyasa classes.

 

Teachers who wish to continue along the Rocket pathway can build on their initial 50 hours to reach 100 total hours to be recognised as AUTHORIZED ROCKET® TEACHERS.

• Why Rocket was created and how it evolved

• How the Rocket draws from the Ashtanga series

• Teaching Rocket while honouring lineage

 

Rocket Sequencing

• Rocket structure and sequencing principles

• Building strong, progressive, balanced classes

• Adapting Rocket for mixed-level students

• Understanding structure, freedom, and creativity

 

Inversions, Arm Balances & Transitions

• Teaching inversions with confidence

• Progressive strength-building drills

• Transitions that support lightness and control

 

Assists & Teaching Skills

• Safe, supportive assisting principles

• Assessing student's strength and flexibility

• How to adjust classic postures of the Rocket sequence

 

 

WHAT YOU’LL LEAVE WITH

By the end of the 5 days, you will:

• Complete 50 hours of ROCKET® Vinyasa Teacher Training

• Understand Rocket sequencing and structure

• Feel confident teaching Rocket Vinyasa classes

• Teach inversions, transitions, and assists

• Have the option to continue toward 100-hour authorization
